JobCaddie Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

When you create or use a JobCaddie account, we may collect information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number, business name, service area, business settings, pricing information, and other information you choose to enter into JobCaddie.

When using JobCaddie, you may also enter information relating to your customers and jobs, such as customer names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, job details, estimates, quotes, change orders, invoices, payment records, job notes, and related business information.

We may also collect technical information necessary to operate and protect the service, such as device and browser information, IP address, usage information, log information, and similar technical data.

2. Customer Information Entered by JobCaddie Users

Information that a JobCaddie user enters about their own customers is used to provide the JobCaddie service and the functionality requested by that user.

JobCaddie does not sell this customer information to advertisers, and we do not use a handyman's customer information to market JobCaddie directly to those customers.

JobCaddie users are responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate authority to enter and use their customers' information within the service.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information to provide, maintain, secure, and improve JobCaddie; create and manage accounts; generate estimates, quotes, change orders, invoices, and job records; provide customer-facing links requested by users; manage subscriptions and account access; send service-related communications; provide customer support; detect fraud, abuse, or security problems; comply with legal obligations; and understand how the service is being used.

4. Payments and Stripe

JobCaddie uses Stripe to process JobCaddie subscription payments.

Payment information submitted during subscription checkout is processed by Stripe. JobCaddie does not store your full payment card number or card security code.

Stripe's collection and use of payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policies and terms.

JobCaddie may receive information from Stripe relating to your subscription and payment status, such as whether a payment succeeded or failed, your subscription plan, renewal information, cancellation status, and identifiers necessary to manage your subscription.

5. Emails and Communications

JobCaddie may send transactional and service-related communications, including account messages, trial information, subscription notifications, payment-related notifications, and important service updates.

We may also respond to support requests sent to us.

6. Service Providers

We may use third-party service providers to operate JobCaddie, including providers for website and application hosting, database and infrastructure services, payment processing, email delivery, security, analytics, and other functions necessary to provide the service.

These providers may process information on our behalf as necessary to perform their services.

We do not sell personal information to these service providers for their own advertising purposes.

JobCaddie may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies that are necessary for account authentication, security, preferences, application functionality, and understanding service usage.

However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.

We do not sell personal information to advertisers.

If you are a customer of a handyman or other business that uses JobCaddie and have a question about information that business entered into JobCaddie, you should generally contact that business first. JobCaddie will assist its users with appropriate privacy requests when required.

JobCaddie is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through JobCaddie accounts.
