Effective Date: September 28, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of JobCaddie. By creating an account, accessing, or using JobCaddie, you agree to these Terms.
JobCaddie is a web-based business software service designed to help service professionals manage aspects of their business, including estimating jobs, calculating pricing and profitability, creating and sharing quotes, managing jobs and change orders, creating invoices, recording payments, and comparing estimated and actual job results.
JobCaddie is a business management tool. It does not perform work on behalf of users or enter into contracts with their customers.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create a JobCaddie account.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and all activity occurring through your account.
You may not share account credentials in a manner that compromises the security of JobCaddie or other users.
New eligible accounts may receive a 7-day free trial with access to JobCaddie's available features.
No credit card is required to begin the trial.
Unless you purchase a subscription, full account functionality may become restricted when the trial ends. JobCaddie may permit continued read-only access to existing account information for a period after trial expiration.
Free trials are generally limited to one per user or account. JobCaddie may restrict repeated or abusive use of free trials.
After the free trial, continued full access requires a paid subscription.
Current subscription options may include:
Monthly: $24.99 per month
Annual: $249 per year
Applicable prices are displayed before purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew for the applicable billing period unless canceled before the next renewal date.
JobCaddie may change subscription pricing in the future. Any pricing changes will be communicated as required by applicable law and will not retroactively change charges already paid.
You may cancel your subscription through the available subscription-management tools.
Cancellation stops future automatic renewals. Unless otherwise stated, you will continue to have paid access through the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.
After paid access expires, JobCaddie may place the account into read-only status.
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable once charged, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where JobCaddie determines that an exception is appropriate.
Because JobCaddie provides a free trial before a paid subscription is required, users are encouraged to evaluate the service during the trial period before purchasing a subscription.
Cancellation does not automatically generate a refund for the unused portion of a billing period.
If a subscription payment fails, JobCaddie may provide a temporary grace period while payment is retried or updated.
If payment remains unsuccessful after the applicable grace period, account functionality may be restricted, including placing the account into read-only status.
Full access may be restored after a successful qualifying payment.
JobCaddie provides tools intended to assist users with pricing, estimating, job costing, profitability calculations, and business decisions.
Calculations and recommendations are based on information entered by the user and the formulas and functionality available within JobCaddie.
JobCaddie does not guarantee that a suggested price, estimate, quote, profit amount, margin, cost calculation, or other result will be accurate or profitable for a particular job or business.
Users remain responsible for reviewing calculations and determining their own pricing, costs, taxes, labor requirements, materials, contractual obligations, and business decisions.
JobCaddie does not provide accounting, tax, financial, legal, insurance, or other professional advice.
JobCaddie allows users to create and share quotes, change orders, invoices, terms, warranties, and related documents with their customers.
Users are responsible for determining whether the documents and language they use are appropriate and legally sufficient for their business and location.
JobCaddie does not become a party to any agreement between a JobCaddie user and that user's customer.
Users are responsible for the work they perform, representations they make, warranties they provide, and obligations they undertake with their customers.
JobCaddie may provide tools that allow users to calculate or display taxes.
Users are solely responsible for determining whether taxes apply to their business or transactions, determining the appropriate tax rates and treatment, registering with appropriate tax authorities when required, collecting taxes when required, and filing and remitting taxes.
JobCaddie does not provide tax advice.
JobCaddie may allow users to record payments received from their customers.
Unless JobCaddie specifically introduces and identifies a payment-processing feature, recording a customer payment in JobCaddie does not mean JobCaddie processed, received, transferred, or verified that payment.
Users are responsible for collecting and verifying payments from their own customers.
This is separate from subscription payments users make to JobCaddie.
Users retain responsibility for information they enter into JobCaddie, including information concerning their customers.
Users represent that they have the appropriate authority to provide and use that information through JobCaddie.
Our handling of personal information is described further in the JobCaddie Privacy Policy.
You may not use JobCaddie to violate applicable law; engage in fraud or deceptive activity; interfere with or damage the service; attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; introduce malicious software; abuse customer-facing links; or use JobCaddie in a way that infringes the rights of others.
We may suspend or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect JobCaddie, its users, customers, or third parties.
We work to keep JobCaddie available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Features may occasionally be changed, improved, added, restricted, or discontinued as JobCaddie evolves.
We may perform maintenance or make changes necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, or operation of the service.
When a trial or paid subscription ends, JobCaddie may provide read-only access for a limited period.
Information may eventually be deleted in accordance with JobCaddie's retention practices and applicable law.
Users are responsible for retaining copies of business records they are legally or operationally required to maintain.
JobCaddie and its software, branding, design, content, and related materials are owned by or licensed to JobCaddie and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms provide you with a limited right to use JobCaddie for its intended business purposes. They do not transfer ownership of JobCaddie's software or intellectual property to you.
You retain ownership of the business and customer information you enter into JobCaddie.
To the extent permitted by law, JobCaddie is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that JobCaddie will meet every user's business requirements or that every calculation, recommendation, communication, or feature will be error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JobCaddie will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost business opportunities, loss of data, or losses arising from a user's business decisions, customer relationships, pricing decisions, or services performed.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobCaddie's total liability arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the amount the user paid to JobCaddie during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so portions of this section may not apply in every circumstance.
You may stop using JobCaddie at any time.
JobCaddie may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of a material violation of these Terms, fraudulent or unlawful activity, security risks, nonpayment, or misuse of the service.
Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
We may update these Terms as JobCaddie evolves.
When material changes are made, we may provide notice through JobCaddie, by email, or through another reasonable method.
Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms will be governed by applicable United States law and the laws of the state in which JobCaddie operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
